Hayley Atwell had the real-life mission impossible of containing her embarrassment when her dogs relentlessly farted on Tom Cruise. (Watch the video below.)
Visiting “The Tonight Show” Thursday to promote “Mission: Impossible ― The Final Reckoning,” the actor recalled being invited to Cruise’s house to watch a movie to build rapport.
Cruise suggested Atwell bring over her dogs, and they made themselves at home on the matinee idol’s lap for the entire film, she told host Jimmy Fallon.
Atwell pointed out that French bulldogs are “very potent farters,” and “they were farting on him the whole way through the movie.”
“There’s some other people who are gagging,” she recalled. “And he’s so discreet, and he’s just, like, enjoying the movie and eating popcorn. And at one point I thought, I’ve got to say something. I’m so embarrassed.”
