Tom Cruise found another level of “intense” in dangling from the wing of a biplane ― and that was just a test. (Watch the video below.)
The action movie hero visited Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” to promote “Mission: Impossible ― The Final Reckoning” and remind fans of his commitment to doing his own stunts.
Cruise, 62, explained that what he was about to show was an early test for a sequence in the movie, which was inspired by his childhood love of early wing-walking videos.
In the clip, Cruise lists the aircraft’s acrobatic maneuvers to be done, then rallies the crew. “We can do this now,” he reassures director Christopher McQuarrie.
“OK!” McQuarrie replies.
