Elon Musk has vowed to spend a 'lot less' on politics - as he seemingly dashed Reform UK's hopes of securing a $100million donation.
The world's richest man told a business event in Qatar he had 'done enough' after bankrolling Donald Trump's successful US presidential campaign last year.
The controversial billionaire said he didn't 'currently see a reason' to continue ploughing more of his vast wealth into political causes.
His comments will dampen previous speculation that he could significantly bolster Reform's coffers, following his talks with party leader Nigel Farage in December.
Mr Musk met with Mr Farage and Reform's treasurer - property mogul Nick Candy - at Mr Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida late last year.
