Gary Lineker could face a police probe over the anti-Semitic post he shared on Instagram.
Lineker, 64, faced heavy criticism last week after sharing the post about Zionism that included an illustration of a rat, historically used as an anti-Semitic insult.
He had been expected to front coverage of the FA Cup and 2026 World Cup but will now step down after presenting his final Match Of The Day on Sunday.
And now, the Met Police has revealed it has received 'a number of reports' relating to the posts which will now be 'accessed'.
No decision has yet been taken about whether to launch a police investigation.
