The 43-year-old was found lying motionless in his hotel room by staff at the residence in the Konakli area of Alanya on Turkey's south coast.
Staff immediately called for emergency services, who declared him dead at the scene.
A forensic physician declared his death suspicious, and an investigation was launched.
