The five-time Grammy winner was forced to pause her career after being diagnosed in December 2022 with stiff person syndrome, a rare and incurable neurological autoimmune disorder causing progressive muscular stiffness and spasms. Owing to popular demand, Dion has extended her ongoing Paris residency to 16 concerts running through to 14 October, during which she will perform her greatest hits in both French and English. This residency marks her full return following a brief live singing appearance at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony earlier in 2024, which was her first performance since cancelling her Courage world tour.
