A retired wind-turbine blade became the main structural element of a pedestrian and cycling bridge over Poland's Szprotawa River in 2021. The project was developed in the town of Szprotawa by Anmet, which is a local company working with the Rzeszów University of Technology on ways to reuse composite wind-turbine components.
