Decades after 9/11, toxins and PTSD may be aging first responders

After thousands of deaths, first responders are still navigating health effects 25 years post-9/11

It’s estimated 400,000 people were exposed to toxins, risk of physical injury and stressful conditions from 9/11 and the aftermath, according to the WTC Health Program.
