‘More than 40% of World GDP produced by BRICS…’: Putin’s big economic comparison with G7

Russian President Vladimir Putin took a dig at the ‘Group of Seven’ (G7) on Friday on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in New Delhi, saying that it is the latter group of countries which has contributed to over 40 per cent of the world GDP in the last five years as compared to the “so-called” G7.
