Fire Point says the 200-km FP-7 has passed two testing stages, while its longer-range FP-9 is undergoing flight tests.

Russia could use the missile tests to strike targets in western Ukraine, Vadym Skibitskyi, deputy head of Ukraine's military intelligence agency (HUR), said on Sept. 8.

As Moscow seeks to increase its production of long-range ballistic missiles it may use its prototypes against the west of Ukraine.
