Allied Blenders plans foray into single malt whisky, to invest Rs 115 crore

Allied Blenders and Distillers Ltd will invest Rs 115 crore in a new malt distillery. This facility in Aurangabad will produce single malt whisky and is expected by FY28. The company also approved Rs 10 crore for ongoing projects. These funds address cost overruns and minor expansions for bottling lines. This move strengthens ABDL's premium spirits portfolio significantly.
