Man pleads guilty to murder of woman who disappeared 28 years ago

Dunkley also admitted to preventing a lawful burial, confessing that he hid her body in a cellar where it decomposed. He revealed to police that he later disposed of her skeletal remains in household bins when moving house nearly a year later. The victim's body has never been recovered, with charges brought entirely on the basis of Dunkley's voluntary confession. Dunkley has been remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced on 6 November.
