Hospice charities share warning ahead of assisted dying vote

Charity leaders stressed that no one should consider an assisted death due to fears of failing to receive adequate pain relief or care. An Ipsos poll revealed that 34 per cent of respondents believe assisted dying should only be legalised alongside extra state funding for end-of-life care.
