Atlanta Falcons quarterback Tua Tagovailoa left practice Thursday with an oblique injury. Tagovailoa bent over in obvious discomfort after throwing a pass during a portion of practice open to media and grabbed his right side.

The Atlanta Falcons named Tua Tagovailoa the starting quarterback for the season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Rush is in line to start Atlanta's season opener against the Steelers in Pittsburgh if Tagovailoa can't play.
