Delhi PG crisis: Only 3 PG buildings out of 1,355 found 'visibly dangerous' in MCD survey, 9 found repairable

Municipal Corporation of Delhi survey identified three dangerous paying-guest buildings housing sixty-nine occupants. The civic body also found nine other buildings requiring major repairs and forty-nine needing minor repairs. Over the last four days, demolition action occurred at one hundred and eleven properties and eighty-eight were sealed. This intensified enforcement follows a recent paying-guest building collapse which killed seven people.
