Lady Joan Branson's death could have been prevented if she was given a common medication used to prevent blood clots, an inquest has found.

Lady Joan Branson passed away aged 80 at a hospital in London following complications from a back injury suffered in a fall at the family's Necker Island home.

Lady Joan Branson, 80, died on November 24 after suffering a cardiac arrest at the private Lister Hospital in Chelsea, west London, which is owned and operated by HCA Healthcare
