Labor’s long-promised laws are unlikely to be passed before Victorians head to the polls in November, turning the controversial change into a key election issue.

Employer groups have again vowed to take Victoria’s proposed working- from-home bill to the High Court despite amendments.

The effective date for big business has been postponed to July 1 next year, and to January 1, 2028 for small businesses that have fewer than 15 staff.
