Man refused to marry after turning 30, later joined a matrimonial site, but interested matches said they were already married; company ordered to pay him Rs 9000

A Kerala man who paid ₹5,800 for a 90-day M4 Marry.com subscription after struggling to find a marriage match had his account blocked before the service ended. The Kasaragod consumer commission found the termination was done without proper enquiry and ordered the company to refund ₹4,000 and pay ₹5,000 in litigation costs.
