Yogi Adityanath announces payout hike for Anganwadi workers; monthly honorarium raised to Rs 12,000, Rs 5 lakh health cover & 3 sarees

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced an increase in the monthly honorariums of Anganwadi workers and helpers. Workers will now receive Rs 12,000, while helpers will get Rs 6,000. They will also be eligible for cashless treatment benefits of up to Rs 5 lakh annually. Additionally, Anganwadi centres will be modernised with smartphones and real-time data collection systems. The announcements were made during a felicitation ceremony held in Ayodhya Dham.
