Chaos erupted at the Canfield Fair when an armed man allegedly forced his way through a crowd toward Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton, knocking multiple people down in the process. Acton was unharmed, while 38-year-old Patrick Havas was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and disorderly conduct. Authorities said two pistols and brass knuckles were recovered after his arrest; the weapons were not brandished.

While attending a fair in Cranford in the southern part of the state, an 'armed individual lunged' at Acton and left multiple people injured, her campaign said.
