CCTV footage released after 70,000 pints of Guinness stolen in brazen heist

Around 880 barrels were stolen when two HGV trailers were taken from a depot in Runcorn, Cheshire, on Monday 31 August. Footage shows two lorries arriving at the depot and drivers briefly speaking at an entrance building before barriers were lifted. Although the two stolen trailers were subsequently found in Skelmersdale, police are still working to recover the missing kegs and locate the offenders. Cheshire Police have urged anyone approached by prospective sellers of the stolen beer to report their suspicions immediately.
