Satya Niketan building collapse: MCD orders immediate sealing of illegal constructions above four floors

Municipal Corporation of Delhi ordered sealing of illegal constructions over four floors. Strict action will be taken against officials allowing such structures to be built. This decision followed a building collapse in South-West Delhi which killed five people. Ten individuals were rescued from the collapsed structure while an FIR was registered. Student activists protested MCD's negligence regarding safety compliance in paying guest accommodations.
