Thieves steal £115k worth of Guinness from Cheshire depot

Jump to contentAllNewsSportCultureLifestylePolice have launched an investigation after around 800 barrels of Guinness, worth £115,000, were stolen from a depot in Runcorn. The thieves took two HGV trailers containing roughly 70,400 pints of stout intended for pubs from an industrial estate on Monday evening. Cheshire Constabulary estimated the total value of the stolen items, including the two trailers, at approximately £205,000. Two male drivers are believed to have driven the white GXO-branded trailers towards the Mersey Gateway bridge and Rainhill. Detectives have appealed for witnesses and motorists with dashcam footage from the Aston Lane area to contact the force.
