Mechanical foreman Sanjay Sah and mechanical supervisor Kabir Maharjan were saved from the Upper Trishuli 3A Hydropower Station. The 26 August glacier collapse killed more than 1,200 people and is believed to have trapped around 900 people in tunnels across six hydropower projects. Sah suffered non-critical injuries, while Maharjan currently cannot move his limbs; both men are being transferred to a hospital in Kathmandu. Family members expressed immense relief and joy after learning of the survival and rescue of their loved ones.
