By a vote of 370-48, the House passed the extension of current spending through December 11 on Tuesday. The Senate passed the measure on August 8.

With just a few weeks to spare, the House approved legislation extending funding through mid-December.

The legislation, which already passed the Senate, now goes to President Donald Trump to become law, checking off the main item on Congress’ to-do list ahead of the midterms.

Continuing resolution will fund the federal government through Dec. 11
