Sixteen dead in bus crash on Egypt’s Red Sea Coast

The incident took place on a stretch of the Red Sea coast that is popular with tourists. Twenty ambulances rushed to the scene of the crash, with the nationalities of the deceased yet to be released. Egypt's Health Minister, Dr Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, directed medical teams to operate at full capacity to treat the casualties. The incident comes shortly after a separate road incident in Egypt's Ismailia governorate in August left 15 people dead and 32 injured.
