Seated only two rows apart in a Provo, Utah, courtroom, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and the mother of his accused killer, Tyler Robinson, were both visibly emotional as the judge ruled the case can move to trial.

It follows a pivotal hearing in which a judge heard final arguments over whether Tyler Robinson should stand trial for the alleged assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Tyler Robinson will be tried for allegedly killing Charlie Kirk, after a judge found there is enough evidence to go to trial.
