Izzy Hammond recently lost control of her car and crashed into a concrete barrier during a Formula E influencer event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, though she escaped without any injuries. Hammond expressed that while he naturally worries about his daughter getting hurt based on his personal experience of severe accidents, he refuses to hold her back from pursuing her career opportunities. The 56-year-old host suffered a frontal lobe brain injury and was placed in a medically induced coma after crashing a jet-powered dragster at 288mph while filming at Elvington airfield 20 years ago. Hammond will next be seen making a cameo appearance on the newly formatted Prime Video series The Grand Tour to offer guidance to the new hosting trio.
