French officials are examining a Luger pistol found at the bottom of Lake Annecy which could have been used in the murders of an Iraqi-British family and a French cyclist 14 years ago.

Saad Al-Hilli, 50, an Iraq-born satellite engineer from Surrey, was shot dead at the wheel of his BMW on a remote mountain road near Lake Annecy in 2012.

Un pistolet Luger a été remonté à la surface par des touristes britanniques qui se baignaient dans le lac d'Annecy.
