Saudi leaders congratulate Erdogan on Türkiye’s Victory Day

JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Türkiye’s Victory Day, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday. In separate cables, King Salman and the crown prince wished Erdogan continued good health and happiness, and the government and people of Türkiye steady progress and prosperity. Türkiye marks Victory Day, or Zafer Bayramı, annually on Aug. 30 to commemorate the decisive defeat of occupying Greek forces at the Battle of Dumlupınar in 1922.
