Osun Governor Adeleke Establishes Coroner Panel On Ikire Killings, Orders Probe Of Security Operatives

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has issued an Executive Order establishing a Coroner Inquest/Panel of Inquiry into the killings, shootings, injuries and violence reported at Naira and Kobo Junction, Motor Park/Garage Area, Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area, on August 24, 2026. The state government disclosed this in a statement issued on Saturday, August 29, 2026, signed by the Governor's spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed.
