Maharashtra government accepted all demands of tribal student protesters on hunger strike. These demands concerned recruitment and residential school conditions for tribal children. The Chief Minister assured a review meeting after three months for implementation. Vacant posts will be identified within three months and filled. The government also cancelled the direct benefit transfer scheme as requested.
