Expired food, labelling lapses found in Karnataka med hostels; notices issued

Food safety officials issued notices to five medical college canteens in Karnataka. These notices followed inspections revealing expired food items and labelling irregularities. Seven kilograms of expired rava and eight litres of milk were detected and seized. Legal action is now being taken against the concerned food business operators. The operators will be presented before the Additional District Magistrate for further proceedings.
