This week devastating flash flooding hit the Nepal-China border, leaving at least 600 people dead and around 2500 more missing, including five New Zealanders.

At least 98 people have been confirmed dead in Nepal and China, with fears for hundreds of people missing, including tourists from Australia, India and the UK.

The flash flood in the Himalayan border region has killed at least nine people in Nepal. Nearly 300 foreign nationals, including an Australian, have been reported missing.
