‘Those who work by the clock are of no good use’: Delhi CA-turned founder admits how a young CFA proved him wrong by working only 9 hours

Delhi-based founder and CA Kanan Bahl shared how a young CFA changed his views on long working hours. She refused to work beyond 6:30 pm but remained highly focused, avoided unnecessary breaks and office banter, and rarely spoke unless work-related. Bahl said she accomplished more in nine hours than many employees working 13-hour days. He concluded that productivity depends more on focus and discipline than clocking long hours.
