Stronger collaboration between government, organised business and financial institutions is needed to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME) overcome barriers to finance, markets and business support, speakers highlighted during the Absa–South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Sacci) Entrepreneur Empowerment Summit. Held at the Orion Safari Lodge Hotel and Convention Centre, in Rustenburg, North West, on August 26, under the theme “Growing Rustenburg Together: Empowering Entrepreneurs, Creating Opportunities, Transforming Communities”, the summit brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and government officials to discuss practical pathways for MSME growth.
