The Karnataka government on Thursday (August 27, 2026) said 13 people from the State were stranded in Nepal and the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) following flash floods.

Most of those reported stranded or missing are believed to be in Timure in Nepal’s Rasuwa district, while a few are in Darchen in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
