Nepal flood fury: MEA MoS confirms 130+ Indians unaccounted for as IAF steps up relief

Nepal’s devastating flash floods have claimed 162 lives, with more than 1,000 people still out of contact, according to former Nepal Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali. Around 288 Indians are also unaccounted for, as rescue operations continue. India has stepped up its humanitarian response. The Indian Air Force’s C-130J has already delivered relief supplies, while a second C-17 has departed from Hindon carrying 37.5 tonnes of HADR material, medicines and food packets for flood-hit Nepal.
