Mayawati welcomes UP jobs plan, seeks action on reserved posts and 69,000 teacher recruitment

LBSP chief Mayawati welcomed the Uttar Pradesh government's announcement to provide government jobs to one lakh youth in the next six months, but questioned whether the move was driven by electoral considerations. She urged the government to ensure transparent recruitment without paper leaks or corruption and sought action on the backlog of reserved SC, ST and OBC posts, the ongoing 69,000 teacher recruitment issue and the reopening of around 30,000 closed government schools.
