Efcc Offers Whistleblowers Up To 5% For Recovering Stolen Nigerian Assets Anywhere In The World

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has said Nigerians who provide information leading to the recovery of stolen Nigerian assets hidden or taken abroad could receive between 2.5% and 5% of the recovered assets. Olukoyede disclosed this on Wednesday while delivering a lecture at the Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime in the United Kingdom, where he called for stronger whistleblower protection and incentives to encourage Nigerians to help the government trace assets allegedly stolen from the country.
