A federal judge says Blake Lively can have just over $400,000 of the $8 million in legal fees she sought for defending herself against a lawsuit that actor Justin Baldoni lodged against her in response to her lawsuit over the production of their 2024 film “It Ends With Us.”

Lively had asked for $8 million in attorney’s fees and costs, but a federal judge said the “number of hours for which Lively seeks reimbursement is unreasonable.”

A judge in New York ruled Lively will get just five percent of the amount she was seeking for defending herself against Baldoni's $400 million defamation lawsuit.
