Man rams into coastguard in stolen £800k speedboat off coast of Ibiza

The charter firm tracked the stolen vessel using onboard technology south towards the islet of Tagomago before alerting the Spanish Civil Guard to its location. Dramatic aerial footage shows the driver steering recklessly at full throttle for nearly 30 minutes, ignoring direct orders to stop and repeatedly ramming into a coastguard patrol boat. Armed officers from the Spanish Civil Guard intercepted the craft using a surveillance helicopter and two patrol boats, boarding the vessel once the suspect finally cut the engines.
