Your traffic challan stuck for months? Delhi may soon offer an easy way to clear it

Delhi is considering empowering nearly 700 officials to dispose of traffic challans as part of an effort to tackle a backlog of more than four crore pending cases. Sub-divisional magistrates and tehsildars may soon be authorised to handle certain challan disputes. The proposed system would give motorists a more convenient option to resolve pending challans while helping streamline the process and reduce the burden on courts.
