Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has called on Ohanaeze Ndigbo and other major civil society groups to demand an end to widespread extrajudicial killings in the South-East region of Nigeria and seek justice for victims of the region’s prolonged security crisis. Ejimakor said that widespread extrajudicial killings in the South-East were ushered in 2015 by former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
