Police were called to St Bartholomew’s Road in East Ham at around 3am on 18 August, where Mr Miah was found with gunshot wounds inside a car and pronounced dead at the scene. Leahu, who is of no fixed address, is scheduled to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Detective Chief Inspector Dan Whitten appealed for witnesses and requested CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage from the public to assist the investigation. Officers are specifically seeking information regarding a black Nissan Juke seen in the vicinity of St Bartholomew’s Road between the evening of 17 August and the early hours of 18 August.
