China’s solar cells export volume drops 40% y/y in July

The volume of Chinese exports of photovoltaic (PV) cells fell 40% y/y to 659 million units in July, with the export value declined 4% y/y to USD 2.1 billion (EUR 1.8 billion), Chinese financial news outlet Caixin reported, citing customs data released last week.
