Trump, Melania, Rubio, Hegseth attend Freedom 250 Grand Prix Indy Car race takes off in Washington

US President Donald Trump mixed with senior administration officials, political allies and family members on Sunday (August 23) as he attended IndyCar's inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix in Washington. During the event Trump spoke with Attorney General Todd Blanche, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and House Speaker Mike Johnson, as well as meeting with the chairperson of the Penske Corporation, Roger Penske. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump later watched the race from a VIP box overlooking the track. Among those seen at the venue were White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, UFC President Dana White, Senator John Barrasso, Trump's son Eric Trump and Melania Trump's father, Viktor Knavs.
