‘India can become global shipbuilding hub…’: Rajnath Singh as he pushes for ‘Aatmanirbharta’

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stressed the need for ‘Aatmanirbharta’ (self-reliance) in India’s shipbuilding sector, saying the country has the potential to become a global shipbuilding hub. Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony for expansion projects of GRSE and Yantra India Limited in Kolkata, Singh called for greater indigenous capability, technology and capacity in shipbuilding and defence manufacturing.
