In 1979, Canadian fisherman and carpenter Édouard T. Arsenault was inspired by a postcard from his daughter to build something extraordinary. He collected and cleaned discarded glass bottles and eventually created three structures in Prince Edward Island using more than 25,000 bottles. Today, the Bottle Houses remain a unique roadside attraction in Cap-Egmont.
