IIT Delhi engineer develops fridge that runs without truck engine, cuts cooling costs by 75%

A post on X has highlighted Yotuh Energy, a company co-founded by IIT Delhi biotechnology graduate Shaivee Malik, which has developed a battery-powered refrigeration system for transport vehicles. The technology works independently of truck engines, can run for six to eight hours and is claimed to cut refrigeration costs by 75%, while also reducing diesel use and carbon emissions.
